History of SRI GOUTAM TEX 

Situated at Tirupur, South India Sri Goutam Tex is a fast growing Garment manufacturing and export firm started by the reluctant effort of R.E. Murthy who started a small company Maruthi Colours, Maruthi Process and GL Tex., dealing in the process of fabric dyeing.

Impatient with the sluggish progress and fired by an insatiable ambition to explore the world of garment exports resulted in winding up the unit switched to the high growth potential manufacture and export of garments. Thus was born Sri Goutam Tex in 1989, a partnership firm founded and headed by Mr. R.E. Murthy and his wife 
Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari
Today we form one of the leading knit wear exports in Tirupur with a turnover of
20 crores (Approx. 45,00,000 U.S. Dollars) and employing well over 1000 work force,
our strength lies in having all the infra structural facilities which include
